Get ready for a whole new, live-action world, as the main cast of Aladdin has come together in a first photo.
In a photo taken by Genie star Will Smith, Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Princess Jasmine), Smith, and Marwan Kazari (Jafar) have gathered on set, albeit not dressed ready to head into the Cave of Wonders just yet:
A piece of the set appears to be visible in the photo, however few other details about he production have been revealed.
Alongside the new cast photo, Deadline reports that Homeland’s Navid Negahban has been cast as the Sultan in the film, while Billy Magnussen was recently cast in a new role, which is reportedly a prince and potential husband for Jasmine.
Filming is expected to last until January of next year, while the finished film is anticipated to arrive in theaters at some point in 2018.
